Bitota received a 2010 Good for Kids Coaching Scholarship for Cooking
Bitota spent 3 hours a week for 12 weeks in the Fall of 2008 developing and refining her cooking skills with one of the San Francisco Bay Area's leading cooking instructor and professional chef, Su-Wun Harris.
One of Bitota's favorite things to do when she is not in school is to cook. Bitota’s love of cooking was inspired by watching her mom cook. She would like to be a chef one day. Bitota also also enjoys painting and writing poems and stories.
If she could teach one thing to her friends, Bitota would teach them how to cook so that they could discover that “eating healthy foods is good too.”
