Founded in 1891, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco (BGCSF) serves over 1,100 youth and teens per day at nine neighborhood Clubhouses. Dedicated to helping kids from disadvantaged circumstances, BGCSF provides a broad range of programs to inspire young people to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.

The YMCA of San Francisco builds strong kids, strong families, and strong communities by enriching the lives of all people in spirit, mind, and body.

Cellspace provides a safe and supportive public environment for the exploration of art, education, performance and community building. Through cooperative relationships and multidisciplinary programs, CELLspace encourages the celebration of inter-generational, cross-cultural collaborations and the promotion of social justice. CELLspace simultaneously serves two key populations in the Mission District: at-risk youth and artists.

Def ED provides youth with the educational curriculum that promotes hip hop values of acceptance, non-violence, creative self-expression, and physical fitness. We teach students to value art and education and help them to make a connection between creative self-expression and education that they wouldn't otherwise dream possible. We use the specific elements of hip hop, MCing, DJing, breaking, and street art, in schools, community centers, libraries, and live-in facilities.
